YOUR SPECIALIST KNEE SURGEON

I am a fellowship trained Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant Surgeon based in Bristol. I have a specialist elective practice exclusively in knee surgery. My aim is to ensure that no matter what knee problem you have, I provide the individual expertise so you can return to the activities that you love in life.

EVIDENCE-BASED CARE

I want you to recover as quickly as possible from your knee. It is vital that injuries are treated effectively from the start as this will impact your ability to return to work and sport.

To ensure that you receive the best possible treatment individual to you, I will use the most recent research and innovations.

I am the West of England National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) musculoskeletal research lead, and a member of national and international specialist knee societies. I attend and present at international conferences allowing me to see where the innovations are happening.

I review for major scientific journals and have written over 60 research articles and book chapters. A full list of publications can be found here.

This is knowledge which I will pass on to you, optimising your treatment. The best outcomes are achieved when knee problems are identified and managed early.
